Blood Brothers show a triumph

Congratulations to Director Mr Brett Alborough, Assistant Directors Ms Ulaetha Singh and Mrs Emily Stockil-Smith, an exceptionally talented cast, band and technical team. Kearsney’s production ran for four days and was appreciated by full houses each evening. The hard work put into the production was worthwhile.

This highly acclaimed musical was a smash hit around the world and it was a treat to be able to see at Kearsney.

See photographs from the show.

A decade of thrilling rugby

The three-day Standard Bank Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival was well supported with excellent crowds who enjoyed a high standard of competitive rugby.  We thank our sponsors including major sponsors Standard Bank, Halfway Ford, Hendok and the Sharks Academy.

Exceptional Achievements for the Class of 2016

Congratulations to the Class of 2016 on a fantastic year and some special achievements.  These were celebrated at our annual Speech Day and Grade 12 Prize Giving at the end of the third term. An incredible 30% of the Class received Academic Colours, Honours or Honours Cum Laude.

Dux of School for 2016 is Nicholas Carroll. Runner-up to Dux is Cameron Rencken. These boys and nine other Grade 12 boys achieved Honours Cum Laude, which means their average achievement was over 85%.

Kearsney hosts U18 Coca-Cola Craven and Academy Weeks

We were delighted to host the prestigious 2016 U18 Coca-Cola Rugby Youth Weeks from 11-16 July.  This is the first time that the U18 Coca-Cola Craven and Academy Weeks have been held simultaneously at the same venue.

It was believed this will be the world’s biggest school rugby tournament ever with 44 teams participating.  Our beautiful campus and world-class facilities provided a fitting venue for this historic event and it was a pleasure to welcome rugby players and supporters from all over the country.
