There are 6 points available under this formula.<\/li>\n<li>They can also count spend on bursaries for tertiary institutions such as University\/ Tech etc for black Kearsney matriculants \u00a0towards their target of spending 2.5% of their gross annual payroll on Bursaries for black Students at Higher Education Institutions. There are 4 points available under this formula.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><u style=\"color: #555555; font-size: 14.4px;\"><u style=\"color: #555555; font-size: 14.4px;\">Socio-Economic Development:<\/u><\/u>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The second area is under the Socio-Economic Development pillar of the BEE Scorecard.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Organisations can count spend made on bursaries for African, Indian or Coloured students in any grade towards their annual target of spending 1% of their Net Profit After Tax on Socio-Economic Initiatives. There are 5 points available under this formula.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Organisations can make contributions to all three initiatives detailed above with more than one bursary contribution but the contributions cannot be double counted- i.e. the same contribution can\u2019t be counted under both Skills Development and Socio-Economic Development pillars.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\t<div id=\"col-57126080\" class=\"col small-12 large-12\"  >\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-inner\"  >\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\n<div class=\"row\"  id=\"row-2113337694\">\n\n\n\t<div id=\"col-202833725\" class=\"col small-12 large-12\"  >\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-inner\"  >\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\n<h2>Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment<\/h2>\n<p>Corporates are increasingly motivated to contribute to society.
