It serves both as a silent salute to all who arrive at Kearsney and, just as poignantly, as the final enduring symbol that bids farewell to those departing its grounds.

Within the Kearsney Memorial Garden stands Isivivane – a traditional cairn where returning Old Boys and friends of Kearsney may place a stone from their own place of origin. Each stone is an unspoken acknowledgement of the enduring and inextricable bond shared with the College, while together they form a beacon that forever guides one home.

It is for these reasons that the Greyhound provides the fitting setting in which the lifelong fraternal bonds forged during our years at Kearsney continue to flourish. It stands as a lasting reminder of the pride, loyalty and passion instilled in each of us during our time together. As the Kearsney College Old Boys celebrates its 98th anniversary in 2026, may these remarkable bonds continue to strengthen and endure for generations to come.

What you can look forward to as a Kearsney College Old Boy:

The KCOB Network

The KCOB alumni network enjoys an international footprint with a branch on almost each continent, and at least ten such branches within the country.
