USA KCOBs join the drive
to commemorate the
Centenary
In the first year R700 000 was raised
towards the 2021 goal of R7-million which
will install five 25% bursaries in perpetuity
by the Centenary. This is an amazing
legacy of which our USA Old Boys can
rightly be proud! The Kearsney Board,
Trustees and KCOB Executive endorse this
campaign and thank Professor
Michael Hall
(Gillingham 1953) for chairing and driving
the initiative which will inspire and change
lives of talented boys of the future.
Through Kearsney’s partnership with the
General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM)
of the United Methodist Church (UMC) all
gifts to Kearsney via the GBGM are fully tax
deductible as per ruling of the IRS (Internal
Revenue Code section 501(c)(3).
To mark the 95th Anniversary and support the
US bursary drive, the USA KCOB have new
T-Shirts. From L-R: Kerry McMaster (KCOB
& Foundation Secretary), Joy Mills-Hackmann
(Foundation Director) and Athena Fisher
(Foundation Co-ordinator) sporting their USA-
KCOB T-shirts.
