Old Cricks T 20 vs Kearsney 1st xi

KCOB and Parents are cordially invited to come and enjoy the T20 action on the A.H. Smith Oval as the “Old Cricks” take on the 1st XV at 14h00 on Wednesday, 20 September 2023.
Both teams will be playing for the coveted Stuart Brown Memorial Trophy; with the Kearsney College Old Boys defending the title for a third year in a row. This is the fifteenth year that this T20 challenge is being played, and with both teams fielding exceptional players there is bound to be some phenomenal cricketing.
The coffee shop will be open to spectators and picnic baskets are welcome.
Note that the prize-giving and post-match function in the Cricket Pavilion is reserved for invited guests only.

Southbroom’s unique charm will set the background for a formidable evening as we reconnect and gather to welcome Kearsney’s eighth Headmaster, Mr Patrick Lees, and his wife, Sarah, into the South Coast community. The “after-party” will take place at Pistols Saloon – it’s almost a tradition now!
Mr Lees will be conquering SGC’s world-class course on the morning of 07 October 2023, and a 07h56 tee-off is available for one 4-ball should you wish to play a round of Golf at a discounted rate (the standard rate is R 400.00). Post-18 libations in the Clubhouse are highly recommended!

The vision is to create an engaging environment where the boys can hear first-hand what it means to be a KCOB and what the benefits are to maintaining school ties beyond Gr. 12.
The evening will include a short introductory talk by the KCOB President, followed by the boys meeting and chatting to KCOB from various years.

Calling all entrepreneurs, businessmen and company owners in Gauteng; join us at our Business Networking Breakfast with “a twist” at Olives & Plates Embassy Towers.
Set to start at 07h30, the morning will follow a “speed dating” format, with everyone having a 60s allocated time-slot to introduce themselves and / or their business in a one-on-one format, before the bell rings and seating is switched.
