Kearsney College Careers Expo

KCOB’s are cordially invited to participate in Kearsney College’s Careers Expo.

Date: 16 March 2022
Time: 12h00 to 16h00
Venue: Kearsney College Sports Zone

The Kearsney College Careers Expo offers insight into the decisions that Grade 8s to 12s face as they consider their further education and career prospects.  The Kearsney College exhibition has grown over the past 9 years with many visitors from not only Kearsney College, but also schools as far away as Hilton to our close neighbours St Marys. The expo attracts approx. 650-850 students. This is an ideal opportunity for your organisation to showcase the opportunities you offer school leavers.  There are many exciting career paths that students are not aware of, and this event will enable students to make more informed decisions about their future. They will be able to seek career advice, meet representatives from tertiary institutions and colleges, gather information on courses and technical careers as well as look for work placements both locally and internationally.

Please could you RSVP to this invitation by filing in the link below.  We require your details to issue you with a SARS compliant tax invoice by 1 March 2022.

The school will supply a trestle table, two chairs per stand and a power cable.  Please supply your own adapter.

Set up times:
Set up will be from 10h00.  We are very excited this year as the entire school are timetabled during their lessons to view the Exhibition between 12h00 and 13h45. This means that at least 600 students will be coming through during that time. The expo will be open to visiting schools and parents after 14h00. We will be bringing in surrounding schools from Inanda Valley at 3pm.

Exhibitors’ stands will be placed inside the Sports Zone.

There will be tea for the parents and exhibitors.  We have a coffee shop on the school property which you are more than welcome to visit.  At the close of the event, exhibitors are invited to join us for a cheese and wine evening as a token of our appreciation for your participation in this event.

Kind regards
