Russel Burns (Pembroke, 1977) recently returned to the hill to sign the Centenary register, and donated some insightful (and rather amusing!) letters from his time in Gr.8 in 1972. Interestingly enough; the cost of a school tour to Europe was estimated to be R 400 at the time!
