What we do

The Kearsney College Parents’ Society (KCPS) welcomes all parents – new, past and present – to Kearsney College.

Our Mission is to promote the welfare of Kearsney College, specifically the wellbeing of the boys. How do we do this?

  • We raise funds to assist with bursaries for carefully selected boys, making it possible for them to receive the life-changing opportunity of a Kearsney education.
  • We raise funds for specific needs in the boys’ boarding houses and other special projects outside the school budget.
  • We contribute funding to the Matric Dance and the Grade 11 Dance.
  • We promote camaraderie, support and cooperation between parents, society members, the board of governors, the Headmaster and the staff of the College.
  • We assist the College in marketing initiatives such as the sale of supporters’ kit through the barrow and utilising our networks to promote marketing events and the Kearsney College brand.

Meetings

Parents’ Society meetings are open to all Kearsney College parents and are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Greyhound Pavilion Board Room at 18:00.
