Academic Tour to USA

Forty-two boys and four staff members have spent an amazing two weeks on an academic tour to the East Coast of the United States. This tour included interacting with academics, including a few fascinating workshops, and enjoying guided tours, of Harvard University, The Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), Yale University and Princeton, where they learnt more about the incredible research and academic work underway and the opportunities available at these famous institutions.

The boys also enjoyed visits to, amongst other highlights, the Wang Theatre, the Shakespeare Theatre, The Niel Simon Theatre, the Broadway Museum, The Smithsonian National Technology Exhibit, and the Barclays Centre in NY and Capitol One Stadium in DC for a couple of basketball games.

The group visited the famous spots in New York, including Times Square, Wall Street, Harlem SoHo, the Empire State Building, Wall Street, St John’s Cathedral, Central Park and Grand Central Station. After New York the group visited Princeton University, Gettysburg and Washington DC.

An incredible, life-changing opportunity for these very fortunate boys.
