International experience and a global outlook are great advantages as our pupils look to life after school, and it is fantastic to see our boys engaging with young leaders on the world stage.
Grade 12 pupil Kudzai Kamwendo was selected to take part in a two-week leadership programme, the American Leadership Experience, in Washington, D.C. from 17 – 30 April. The programme is run by the U.S Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and consists of a one-week civic education workshop in Washington, D.C. and a one-week leadership programme in a host community. There the focus will be on environmentalism, diversity and inclusion, and community engagement.
Kudzai will join three other South African students to participate in this exciting programme. Congratulations to Kudzai on earning this wonderful opportunity.
