We are pleased to announce the appointment of Keegan Daniel as the Director of Rugby and Keegan Pearce as the Director of Hockey at Kearsney College.
A Sharks legend, Keegan (Daniel) earned an incredible 273 caps for the Sharks between 2006 and 2018, captaining the team from 2011 to 2013. Keegan also played 23 games for the Kubota Spears in Japan, from 2014-2016.
Keegan earned five Springbok caps between 2010 and 2012.
We look forward to Keegan bringing his wealth of experience and expertise to the College and wish him all the best in his new role.
A highly respected and accomplished hockey man, Keegan (Pearce) has eight years’ experience within the South African Hockey Association coaching structures and South African Schools Structures. Keegan is currently the Head Coach of the SA Schools Boys Hockey Team, the Assistant Coach of the SA U21 Men Hockey Men’s Team. He has been involved in two SA Men’s hockey team events as a video analyst and junior trainer. He was also previously the Head Coach of the KZN Schools U14A, U16A and U18A teams. Keegan serves on the KZN High Schools Committee as the Head of High Performance, and is the Convenor of Selectors for the KZN U18 Schools Team.
