Kearsney crowned the Top School in KZN in the South African Mathematics Olympiad for an amazing sixth year in a row!
We are incredibly proud of our boys’ and their teachers’ achievements.
At the prestigious awards ceremony in Johannesburg on 25 October, Kearsney was crowned the Top School in KZN for the sixth consecutive year and placed third overall in South Africa – a remarkable accomplishment.
Pictured are Thomas Schulze and Mukona Marageni (ranked 3rd best student in KZN in the senior section), both of whom were placed among the Top 100 candidates nationally and wrote the challenging third-round paper. (Shavanth Chelladu, also ranked in the Top 100 nationally, was absent from the photo.)
Also pictured is Matthew Behrens, the top senior student on the KZN Siyanqoba team at the Interprovincial South African Mathematics Team Competition.
