W100 Cricket Finals

It was a thrilling evening of 100-ball cricket down at Kingsmead last night, as Kearsney took on Westville in the W100 Finals in both the U14A and 1st XI divisions.

Our U14A’s have enjoyed an incredible season, with 9 victories and just one loss, and they were excited to be playing on the big stage of Kingsmead.

In the W100 finals, the U14As kept their cool to beat Westville by 5 runs and be crowned champions.
The 1st XI took on Westville Boys in what proved to be a very high-scoring and tight match. Kearsney set a W100 season-best total of 148/6, with Jack O’Donovan striking an excellent 92* off 49 balls. Some destructive hitting from Westville’s Kaeden McAlister kept the game in the balance until the very end, with Westville reaching the target with 3 balls remaining in the match.

Congratulations to the 1st XI on a great tournament and on finishing as runners-up.
