United Kingdom KCOB Centenary Bursary

In October 2017, old boy and member of the KCOB executive, Lorne Maclaine (Gillingham 1963), flew out from South Africa and joined the UK KCOB branch for their bi-annual social drinks gathering. After an informative update on the status of the school, he implored UK old boys to assist Kearsney by joining other branches around the world in their ambitious fundraising objectives for the College’s centenary year. The centenary is a moment to celebrate 100 years of the College’s existence and affords us all a moment to not only reflect on the many successes of the school in this time, but to also consider the impact that Kearsney has had on each of our lives.

More importantly, it gives us the opportunity to join in giving back to the institution.

This is an invitation to you to Seize the Day! Please join all Kearsney Old boys living in the UK in funding the UK KCOB Centenary Bursary Fund. Its aim is to support talented and deserving students in financial need who have the potential to make a significant contribution to our great College, South Africa, and further abroad.

Our goal is to install two bursaries by the Centenary year in 2021.
