The Foundation at Kearsney College truly believes in building and maintaining relationships between boys with their donors.
Over the months this has proven to have a sincere impact on both the boys and their donors, albeit over a zoom call.
Yesterday the 16th March, Matthew Jacobs (Grade 12) was able to meet his donor, Mrs. Norma Moore for the first time, a wonderful opportunity to speak freely and connect. It was lovely to hear Mrs. Moore encourage Matthew, and say how proud she was of him, and to see Matthew’s sincere response and gratitude. Matthew has been supported by the Phillip Moore Family Trust since he was in grade 8. Their relationship has grown in leaps and bounds over the years through Matthew’s annual letter to Mrs. Moore which she always responds to.
We are sincerely grateful to our donors who support bursary boys, because it is moments like these that change lives and make such a difference.
